Old Poway Park

14134 Midland Road

You'll find a quaint park that includes Heritage Museum, the Poway-Midland Railroad operating steam train, blacksmith shop, Hamburger Factory restaurant, historic buildings, rental facilities and picknicking. Don't miss the weekly Farmer's Market every Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. The Boardwalk Craft Market is held in the park on the first Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and every Saturday from Labor Day to Christmas. Lake Poway Recreation Area

Located on the east end of Lake Poway Road. Includes fishing, boating, camping, picnicking, volleyball, softball and Clyde Rexrode Wilderness Area.

Blue Sky Reserve

For the nature enthusiasts, hiking trails and nature programs, north of Lake Poway, east of Espola Road.

Goodan Ranch

Visitors can hike along miles of trails, where they will enjoy grand vistas, abundant wildlife, and interesting reminders of the long and varied history of man's use of the area.

Fishing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, biking, youth camps and more.

Instruction for most activities is available from qualified staff (pre-booking required).

Located just north of Poway, Lake Hodges is open for recreation March through October on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
