Membership

Why should I join?

Companies join a chamber of commerce to increase their organization’s visibility and invest in the future of their community. The Poway Chamber provides several educational programs to help businesses grow and expand. The Chamber also provides a variety of networking opportunities so that members develop relationships with each other and share their experiences, thereby increasing the profitability of their businesses.

How much are membership dues?

Membership dues are based on the number of full-time employees at your business. Exact prices can be found by clicking here.

How can I get involved in the Poway Chamber?

Becoming involved is easy! You may join the Connections group, become a committee member, attend events, volunteer to help with events, and/or host events.

Where can I find my ChamberMaster login information?

Each member receives a login name and password via email when they join the Chamber. If you cannot find that information please contact the office at (858) 748-0016 and staff will be happy to provide the information.

How do I update my Business Directory listing?

You will need your login information. If you do not have it, please contact the office at (858) 748-0016 and staff will be happy to give it to you. From there, you will be directed to enter information about your business. You can add images/videos, social media links, business hours, etc. If you need help with this, please contact the office and staff will gladly assist you.

What is the 90-day membership money back guarantee?

If you are not completely satisfied with your Chamber membership, we will fully refund you (within the 90-day period). You must attend four events within the 90-day period to qualify for this refund. Chamber Events

How do I RSVP to events?

Members may RSVP via the Chamber website (www.poway.com) using their login information, by calling the Chamber office at (858) 748-0016 and speaking with any staff member, via the The Chamber Report (the Chamber’s weekly newsletter), or by e-mailing any staff member, who will be happy to add you to the guest list.

What and when are Mixers?

Mixers are fun networking events that take place the last Thursday of every month (with the exception of November & December, when we have a joint Holiday Mixer). Both members and prospective members are invited to attend. Mixers are held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Poway Chamber member businesses. Dress code is business casual.

How much does it cost to attend a Mixer?

Members receive complimentary admission if they RSVP prior to 3:00 p.m. on the day of the event; the cost is $10 at the door if they have not pre-registered. Prospective members & non-members can contact the Poway Chamber office to receive one complimentary admission pass; the cost to attend is $25 thereafter.

What is a membership orientation?

Membership orientations are offered several times each year to teach new, prospective and currently-active members how to use the Chamber website to maximize their membership benefits. This is a FREE event that lasts for one hour; you may repeat the orientation process as often as you need to. Please RSVP at www.poway.com.

What is a Lunch & Learn?

Lunch & Learns include a guest speaker who presents educational information about a specific topic. Lunch is included in the cost. Check the calendar for the next event date. You must RSVP to attend.

Where is the Poway Chamber office located?

We are located at 14005-B Midland Road in the Old Poway Village shopping center.

What is the Poway Chamber of Commerce?

The Poway Chamber of Commerce is a business membership organization that was established in 1950. The Chamber promotes member businesses; provides networking opportunities, educational programs and advertising opportunities; advocates for business; and creates a strong local economy. Does the Poway Chamber have City of Poway maps?

Yes, indeed! We have recently taken delivery of newly printed area maps, and would be delighted to give you one! Please stop by the office any day of the week.

Sponsorship

What is a Rollover sponsor and how do I become one?

A Rollover sponsor pays $100 and is featured on the Chamber Report during the month of their sponsorship. Their logo is included in the Chamber Report and is linked to their website. They also receive one FREE e-blast as part of their sponsorship and are recognized at that month’s mixer. The $100 is used for the Rollover jackpot.

How do I get my logo on the bottom of the Poway Chamber website?
